Cook 2 lbs. of HOM Toledo’s Best Homemade Kielbasa. This will be slightly undercooked.
#1. Pre-heat oven to 350 degrees F.
#2. Place Kielbasa in a baking dish, add 1/4 inch of water, cover with foil, and bake for approximately 20 minutes.
#3. Remove foil, drain, and bake for an additional 10 minutes turning frequently to brown.
Rinse 2 lbs. of Kraut & drain.
Cook 1/2 lb. of HOM Sliced Bacon, chop & add to kraut.
Sauté 1/4 cup of onions and add 1/4 tbsp. Brown Sugar in same pan bacon was prepared.
Add 3/4 tbsp. of brown sugar and 1/4 tsp. pepper to kraut – mix.
Cut the Kielbasa into 1-inch pieces and mix with kraut.
Pre-heat oven to 325 degrees.
Put Kraut and Kielbasa in baking dish
Place baking dish in oven and bake at 325 for 45 minutes
Serve with boiled or mashed potatoes.
