This is an easy pot roast recipe that may be prepared in the oven or slow cooker. It is really even better the next day warmed up. Use this recipe when preparing a House of Meats Boneless Chuck Roast of English Roast.
Mix Mushroom Soup, Lipton Soup Mix and wine or Beef Broth in the bottom of a roasting pan.
Add House of Meats Pot Roast. pierce with a knife or fork, repeatedly. Add Potatoes and Onions , depending upon how crunchy you like your carrots, add them prior to baking or half way through.
Bake at 350° for at least 4 hours.. I will generally take the roast out halfway through baking and cut it into strips, so the gravy has a better opportunity to soak in.
The roast should be fork tender and is excellent over potatoes.
Thicken gray if desired.
Serve with Hard Rolls and Butter.
